Support from pregnancy to parenthood
You may consider hiring doula support if you are:
- first time parents newly navigating pregnancy, birth and parenthood and looking for support
- experienced parents looking for support in navigating the transition to a larger family
- looking for sibling support for your birth
- planning for a physiologic birth at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center
- planning for a VBAC or HBAC
- planning for an induction/and or medicated birth
- a pregnant person whose partner is away and will need support
- parents with little familial support
- a partner who desires support in supporting the birth-giver
BEING SUPPORTED, HEARD, & UNDERSTOOD IS ESSENTIAL
Especially during such significant transitions like birth. Birth can be a very powerful right of passage that allows you to tap into your deepest power, and even a catalyst for healing and growth. Having experienced and caring support can make a huge difference in the experience.
As your doula, my intention is to help you find connection: with yourself and your changing body, with your partner and your baby, and then with your community as you navigate new parenthood. As you cultivate this awareness within you, it is my hope that you will be able to tap into your tools and your community of support, so that your whole family can thrive.
I believe that all births are natural and normal and I will support you as you uncover your own path through birth.
My doula practice is holistic, supporting you mind and body, because I very much believe that the two are connected, and that birth is an event that requires both physical and emotional preparation.
SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR FOURTH TRIMESTER
Traditionally, families around the world support the birthing person, baby, and their partner in the months following pregnancy, acknowledging the huge change and transition, and write of passage that birth and new parenthood is. Our western world is not always supportive of this period, and this is why the focus in my doula practice is comprehensive, and includes postpartum doula support in each of my packages.
As a postpartum doula, I will support your family in the week(s) following the arrival of your baby. This support can include breastfeeding support, meal preparation, light household tasks, shopping, baby care, guided meditation or breath exercises, yoga to keep you supple and strong, and more. My goal as a postpartum doula is not to assume care of your newborn, but to support you on your journey into new parenthood, with information, nourishment, and care, much like I do as a birth doula. Together, we willl formulate a postpartum plan that will allow for seamless care and transition in the week(s) after your birth.

Sibling Support Package
My background and experience working as a nanny and daycare provider inspired me to create packages supporting the littlest members of your growing family. Do you have a good grasp around birth, having done it before, but are now wondering how to support your children through the process of becoming a sibling? Do you want to approach the topic of birth with your child as a natural, normal process and event? Having an experienced and caring person who is there for your child can take off pressure and allow your family to be involved at everyone’s comfort level. Sibling support packages include a prenatal planning visit, and a play-based “Welcoming Baby” class. I will be on call starting two weeks prior to your estimated due date and will remain on call until your birth. I will stay for up to 4 hours following the birth. This is a great option if you are planning for a home birth, no matter the level of involvement that you would like your child to have in the birth.
